The Playa Hermosa area is a natural paradise of jungle, ocean, and beaches. Fostering a positive relationship and strong connection to nature is a core value at Hermosa Valley School. Another core value is ensuring that all students spend ample time enjoying physical fitness and play time outdoors every single day. These components are easily realized thanks to our lovely climate and gorgeous open air spaces.
Organic Gardens
A wide array of tropical and sub-tropical produce is grown at Hermosa Valley School to be used in our cafeteria for student and staff meals. Fresh, local, organic ingredients are key for healthy, balanced nutrition. The process is also a terrific hands-on way for students to develop self-reliance, contact with nature, an understanding of the natural food cycle and appreciation for a healthy lifestyle.
